In addition to freelance digital marketing, I offer extensive expertise in audio engineering for both live performances and recording studio projects, and performing professionally as a guitarist.
As a guitarist and audio engineer, I have performed on guitar or mixed more than 100 performances, for a variety of entertainment groups. Generally, I performed with a rock and pop band called “Cambridge,” and mixed for a Beatles tribute band called, “Imagine: Remembering the Fab Four!”. Glow Band
Audio Engineering – May 2021 to August 2022
Mixed shows for this Atlanta-based band that performed theme shows (Eagles, ’60s, Southern Rock) and music for big dance parties. I mixed using the Midas M32 digital console with a stage box connected via AES50, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet, depending on venue constraints. Sometimes mixed via the M32 remote edit app on iPad or PC with a control surface and the main console on stage.
These videos show examples of mixing skills in a variety of venues and the professionalism of the performers with whom I worked. Crowds entertained, indoor and outdoor, ranged from 200 at local restaurant to 8,000 at Marietta Square (Glover Park).
Studio Productions
Recording Engineering, MIDI Programming, Guitar – 2019 to present
Since 2019, I have mixed 250+ MIDI-based songs in my home studio. The songs span the 1970s from Emerson, Lake, and Palmer’s “Lucky Man” to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” and feature pop, rock, R&B, country rock, alternative, and jazz rock genres. I will be adding guitar and vocal tracks, possibly as backing tracks for live performances.
This small sample of tracks feature rhythm and lead guitar parts, MIDI programming and enhancements, final mixing and mastering.

Audio Engineering/Touring/Marketing – 1995 to 2001
I joined this Beatles tribute band as their audio engineer and later helped to promote them through a website, digital marketing materials, and social media marketing. In 1998, we toured the USA from Newport Beach, California to Richmond Hill, Virginia with an outdoor audience of 30,000. (Video and audio file quality was poor during those times compared to today.)

Other Audio and Music Experiences
Spanning Various Experiences from 1990s to 2000s
Years ago, I worked for DOD/DigiTech, a company that manufactured music and recording effects. The company was later bought out by Harmon International/JBL, then Samsung, and now it’s returning as a remake of the original company.
Back then, I recorded local talent in this 4-track basement studio. You might be surprised at the quality of the recordings for that time! Through various means, like adding instruments at mixdown, and using MIDI keyboards, 4-tracks could sound like 8 or more! Of course, many of my effects and outboard equipment were produced by DOD/DigiTech. Some of them, I grabbed from the reject bin and gradually fixed and rebuilt them. (I managed the Tech Department and had a good knowledge of the circuits.)
