Video: Construction Trades

This is a 30-second video montage intended for a contractor’s home page banner background with a blue cast. Originally compressed to a 32mb MP4 video and further compressed to 12mb when converting it to WebM format. The video was intended to give viewers an instant understanding of the types of services offered. Small files are super important for home pages to ensure fast page download times which is one factor search algorithms use to determine position.

Video: Attention-getter

Video shown on the Home page of this website, shows a “word salad” of topics related to the services and experience I offer. The original video was reduced more than 50% in size converting from MP4 to WebM format.

Print & Digital Media: Foodservice

The only element in this front-back product brochure that I did not create is the company logo. I created the layout, chose the colors (based on the logo colors), took the product photos, added product descriptions, and managed the printing process. Created in Adobe InDesign, with photo editing using Photoshop, this brochure was produced in printed and electronic (PDF, JPG) formats.

Print & Digital Media: High Technology

A 24-page summary report on research work performed by a major university research center. Created in Adobe InDesign and enhanced with Photoshop.

This brochure for an aviation equipment manufacturer was actually a mock-up—a test of my skills for a marketing position—using images and information from their website. I had 24 hours to produce it. I wasn’t hired but I considered my work passing with flying colors! Pun intended.

Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator were the main software tools used.

Video: Agriculture

Video produced for a major foodservice distribution company supports a national standard for safe, high-quality agriculture practices. The spokesperson is the owner of a large hydroponics agriculture operation in North Georgia. He speaks about his experience in achieving the higher standards and receiving certification in his processes. A “family” feel was the intent as he shared his own family. My contributions were creating the storyboard, performing video capture, setting the lighting, video editing and enhancements, titling, audio, and performing the background music tracks. Produced using Adobe Premiere Pro.
