This website for StoneCreek Hydroponics is the third edition over the past ten years and features great hydroponically-grown lettuces—loved by chefs, foodies, and eateries. It displays beautiful lettuces in all their glory and offers ordering, location, and contact information through web forms, and testimonials from local satisfied customers.

Designed built upon the WordPress platform using the Muffin Group’s Be Theme. Project included on-site photography and videography. Editing of videos and photos in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.

IMAGINE: Remembering the Fab Four!

This website for a long-running Beatles tribute band is the most recent version of several I produced since joining them in 1995. Although the band continues to entertain crowds, the website is currently parked on WordPress. (You will see nagging ads.) Content evolved from earlier websites was updated with media-rich portfolio pages, and audio and video players with song samples. Due to the highly popular subject matter, the website’s traffic growth occurred organically through print media, public performance announcements, social media engagement, and backlinks from a variety of event venues and management agencies. Formal SEO implementation was not performed.

In addition to web development, I generated much of the band’s graphics and printed marketing materials, PDFs for email marketing purposes, and a variety of merchandising items over the years.

As a side note, after joining the band in 1995, I became their audio engineer for local shows, and a US tour in 1998. Website and marketing work began as a secondary contribution at that time. Feel free to visit my Audio & Music portfolio page.

G-Restoration, LLC

My work on this project came to an abrupt end without any real explanation. However, I was able to complete nearly everything except some SEO-related tasks, especially those affecting the mobile device web experience. The links below show this website in a video tour. All design, media, written content, SEO and analytics were my responsibilities. The site featured a banner video, photo galleries, video testimonials, an exit-intent pop-up form; animations, Google Reviews, visitor counters, and more.

Built on WordPress with an e-commerce theme, it offered advanced animations, form-building, and enhancements using Elementor Pro. Videos and photos were captured with a DSLR and an iPhone 16 Pro; editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop. SEO tasks performed with All-In-One SEO with analytics using Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, and GTMetrix.

Since my part in this project ended prematurely, the site resulted in an average mobile device ranking due to: unused photos not yet deleted, unwritten alternate descriptions and captions for accessibility purposes, headings that needed wording improvements, some videos not yet optimized, and too many Elementor Pro server connections likely due to unused widgets.

Extensive experience in the design (wireframing, prototyping, graphics, CSS3), coding, content development, and maintenance of mobile-responsive and desktop web sites using HTML5/CSS3, Bootstrap, CMS platforms (self-hosted WordPress and SquareSpace), and eCommerce platforms (Shopify/Shopify Liquid, Odoo, and Antera). Legendary Meats, LLC

Legendary Meats, LLC, a Hispanic-owned meat processor, contracted with me to provide a wide variety of digital marketing services, including getting their website updated with better product photos, video editing, and English language content improvements, and connectivity to social media for engagement marketing purposes.

The site was designed for mobile responsiveness on the Squarespace platform and had many issues to correct: language errors, broken links, contact form not reaching customer service reps, little product information, no social media engagement connectivity, no SEO or web traffic being monitored or reported, among other things. It mainly offered basic company information.

I corrected the language errors, fixed issues with content and traffic, SEO ranking performance, social media engagement by adding Facebook and Instagram post streams, set up and took product photos for the website and social media. In addition, I suggested dishes and recipes to serve as both product information and menu ideas, fixed broken links and web forms, began tracking and reporting SEO ranking and website traffic, edited a large video into several smaller videos (including English captions since audio was in broken English) to feature on web site.

S & J Scapes Landscaping

This mobile-responsive site was based on the Bootstrap mobile-first front-end framework and highlights a landscaping company’s offerings. It features various services using a wide array of portfolio galleries, videos, and descriptive content.

Bootstrap was used to shorten development time and provide advanced aesthetic performance while retaining full access to code (unlike WordPress). I wrote all content and copy, and produced all video testimonials. Most gallery photos were from the company owner while banners and photos that spotlighted key services were taken using a DSLR camera. Editing of videos and photos were done using Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.

This company closed business in 2022 but this version of the website remains parked on WordPress.
